A tinier Iowa gambling hall is the Diamond Jo, a river boat gambling hall in Dubuque, with 17,813 square feet, 776 slots, and 19 table games. Iowa casinos provide a great deal of tax money to the state government of Iowa, which has enabled the funding of a good many state wide activities. Tourism has grown at an accelerated rate along with the requirement for services and a growth in employment.
